Some days the little ones just don't cooperate. After a late night of game-playing with friends and a long party day, we all couldn't wait to come home from church and settle in for a "long winter's nap." We all fell into sleep and just a short 1 hr. 15 mins. later Mr. A was screaming and ready to not be napping anymore. Excuse me?! He usually takes a 2 hr. nap (at least) because he's so exhausted from all of the running around in Nursery class!
Well, my sweet husband got up, shut the door to our bedroom, picked up Mr. A from his crib, and I didn't hear another peep until I had gone back to sleep and finished my nap an hour or so later. Thank you, thank you, to my DH. I needed that today. Here's what the 2 of them were busy doing. Love you both!

Between this post and A's birthday post you have got some GREAT pictures of him. I could absolutely eat him up- he is too darling.
And I could tell the cake was a Shrek cake- I think you did a GREAT job. That is something I have never done for any of my kids so kudos to you!
