Sweet Cheeks

(Miss M at the Mars Boo Bash double-fisted these packages around with her the entire time)

See that cute left cheek Miss M is showing off? It must just be so yummy. Today she was bitten AGAIN in her Nursery class - by the SAME girl as before. Only, this time it was on her cheek instead of her arm. Seriously?

I even covered her up today - tights on legs, sweater with long sleeve shirt and high collar.

I guess she needs to go in a snow suit and hat now. That is if I can even get her to go back to that room. I'm doubtful.

Looks like at least a few more months of hall-wandering for us ladies during church.

Neither of my kids have been biters so I am at a total loss on this one. Any suggestions on how to deal?? Maybe just turn her into a Cullen already?! :)

Oh man, I have such issues with this. RYley was bit a few times in nursery and I almost cried each time it happened, and then after my emotions settled down I almost ripped into the child that bit her. Fortunately they were only in nursery together a few months before the other girl moved into primary... GOod luck!

poor little thing! so sorry. i haven't had a biter--thank goodness. i know some people do the "flicking cheek" thing with a firm "no." i would definitely talk to the parents. so sorry!!

Oh my gosh I would cry! Biting is just something I cannot stand but then again we've never had to deal with in our kids. Talk to that mom... she should have to come into nursery and monitor her child if she is going to be biting. Her daughter is young, so I'm sure it's hard, but now is the time to nip that in the bud! And it's too much to ask those poor nursery leaders to follow her around. Poor little Morgan! So sad!!!

Oh boy...this hits close to home because I have a biter!! Addie is my first biter. She bites Delaney. And, at 18 months old, there's no way to really get her to stop. I flick her mouth and tell her firmly "no" if I catch it right away, but if it's hours later there's no way for her to associate the punishment with the crime.

She is eligible for the nursery in 1 1/2 weeks and I am terrified that she may bite another child. If it happens, I'll just have to sit in nursery to monitor her. Good luck...Jackson was bit many times by his best buddy when he was little. This is my first time on the "dark side".
